It was a mixed bag of emotions for me today. Taking my dear boy to his first day of Kindergarten choked me up beyond belief. There he was. No longer the tiny babe that I carried home from the hospital by my lonesome only to face a path that neither of us were sure of. Here was my little man, sure of himself and ready to spread his wings without me. His joy was overwhelming and I loved watching him take in his new surroundings with great pride. I saved the tears for when we were in the van on our way to DQ for a treat, thankyouverymuch.

Oh he's so big! Your kids are so lucky to have you there to beautifully document their life!
Great photos of the big event. We start first day of preschool in a couple weeks and I know that will be tough, but at least I'll be in the classroom a few days a month helping.
